Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic

The Emergency Medical Technician program prepares students to provide advanced prehospital emergency care under medical command authority to acutely ill or injured patients. Students will recognize, assess, and manage a medical or trauma emergency, record and communicate pertinent data to designated medical command authority, and direct and coordinate the transport of the patient. Students study both on campus and at a variety of field sites.
