NMT 222 Nuclear Physics

This is a foundational course focusing on the atom and radioactivity. Major topics include atomic structure, interaction of radiation with matter, decay processes and products of radionuclides, half-life, and dosimetry which allows the student to begin building knowledge required to perform in the clinical setting.
